How VisaOS uses Application Intelligence™
In plain language: software reads your answers and documents, works out what your application still needs, and drafts narratives in your words. It can be wrong. You review everything, and you decide.
1 · What you are talking to
AI-ASSISTED GUIDANCE — this is the label you will see in the product wherever an AI-assisted system is involved: beside VisaOS Coach™, and on every generated narrative. It always carries the same three actions: *How this was created*, *Review before relying on it*, and Report a problem.
VisaOS Coach™ is an AI-assisted system. When you ask it a question, a language model is answering — not a person, and not a lawyer. We label it AI-assisted guidance wherever it appears in the product, because you should never be in doubt about that.
Application Intelligence™ is the wider reasoning layer: it works out which requirements apply to you, what your application still needs, and drafts the narratives for each section.
2 · Narratives are drafts
Every section narrative is an AI-assisted draft, written from the answers you gave. It arrives for your review. You can edit it, rewrite it, or throw it away. Nothing enters your application pack until you approve it, and nothing is submitted anywhere by VisaOS at all.
3 · Readiness indicators are guidance
Readiness and completeness indicators tell you how much of the application is evidenced and what remains open. They are guidance tools to help you decide when you are ready. They are not scores, not predictions, and they carry no weight with any authority.
4 · What it cannot do
- It does not make consular decisions. No embassy or consulate is involved in, or bound by, anything VisaOS calculates.
- It does not guarantee an outcome. Nobody honest can.
- It does not give legal or immigration advice.
- It does not submit, file or send your application.
- It does not decide anything about you that has legal effect.
5 · AI can make mistakes
This matters enough to say plainly. An AI-assisted system can misread a document, miss nuance in an unusual situation, or work from requirements that have recently changed. It can also write something fluent and confident that is simply wrong.
VisaOS is designed so you can see and correct its reasoning rather than take it on faith — that is what Final Review is for. You are the reviewer, and the final judgement stays with you.
6 · What is sent to the model
To answer accurately, the model receives the answers you have given and the content of documents you have filed in the application it is helping with. Uploaded information may therefore be included in prompts where it is necessary to do the work.
We apply data minimisation: the aim is to send what a task genuinely needs and no more. The model does not receive your password, your payment details, or any other person’s application.
7 · Who provides the model
Drafting and reasoning are performed using Anthropic’s Claude models, accessed through the Anthropic commercial API. Anthropic acts as a processor for VisaOS under that commercial arrangement.
Inputs and outputs sent through the commercial API are not used to train models by default. That is the position under Anthropic’s published commercial terms rather than a claim of our own, and if the terms in force for our account ever differ from it we will say so here.
8 · Provider retention
How long the provider retains an input or output depends on the API configuration, including any abuse-monitoring settings that apply to our account. We have not published those specifics, and we would rather leave the question open here than describe a configuration we have not confirmed.
9 · Training on your documents
No user document is used to train VisaOS models. If we ever wanted to, it would require a separate, explicit opt-in from you — a clear, unticked choice, asked for its own purpose, and refusable without losing anything. It would never be bundled into these terms or into a privacy notice.
10 · Reporting incorrect or harmful output
If VisaOS Coach™ or a generated narrative tells you something wrong, misleading or harmful, we want to know. Every AI-assisted surface in the product carries a Report a problem action, and you can also write to help@visa-os.com. Reports are read by a person and used to correct the system.
11 · Human review stays with you
There is no hidden human in the loop, and no automated approval. The person who reviews your application before it becomes real is you. VisaOS exists to make that review possible — to show you what an application needs and why — not to take it off your hands.
