Just-in-time privacy notices
Consent buried in a policy nobody reads is not consent. These are the exact words VisaOS uses at the moment each thing actually happens.
Registration
We process your information as described in the Privacy Notice.
You must be 18 or over to create an account.
Creating an application
This application will hold sensitive personal information — passport details, financial evidence and your address. It stays private to your account, and you can delete it at any time.
Nothing is ever submitted to an embassy or consulate by VisaOS.
Filing your first document
Your document is stored against this application only. It is used to work out what your application still evidences, and it is never pooled with other people’s files or used to train a model.
Retention: kept while the application is active, and deleted within 30 days of your request. See how long we keep it.
First use of VisaOS Coach™
VisaOS Coach™ reads your answers and the documents in this application so it can answer accurately. Drafting is assisted by Anthropic’s Claude models through their commercial API.
It cannot give legal advice, and it never makes a decision about your application. How this works.
First narrative generated
This is a draft, written from your own answers. Read it carefully — you can edit or rewrite every word, and nothing enters your application until you approve it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you approve.
Checkout
Payment is taken by Stripe or PayPal. VisaOS receives a record that payment succeeded — never your card details.
Payment and tax records are kept for 7 years after the relevant financial year. Refunds are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Account deletion
This removes your account, your applications and your documents from active systems within 30 days. Residual encrypted backup copies expire within 90 days.
Payment and tax records remain for 7 years, and consent evidence for up to 3 years, because the law requires it. This cannot be undone — export your application from VisaOS first if you may want a copy of it.
What we never write: “I consent to the Privacy Policy”, “By continuing to browse, you agree”, or any pre-ticked optional box. A policy is something we owe you, not something you agree to.
